Customer Advocacy Manager

Full time, Remote in EMEA or Americas

Wings4U is a global B2B customer advocacy agency. We work with international clients and their customers to celebrate success and turn it into revenue growth. We are searching for a Customer Advocacy Manager based in the EMEA or Americas time zones. 

This position is a great fit for you if you have marketing or sales background and understand the value of a strong reference. Even better if you enjoy working on global programs with corporate customers, and relationship building is your strong side. You will be in position to directly impact the revenue of Wings4U clients either by turning their customers into advocates or leveraging customer success through written or video stories. Though not a requirement, let us know if you have prior experience in customer advocacy, customer reference or customer evidence in a B2B environment.

Your job will be


Reference recruitment and onboarding:

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of reference-able customers in the reference management tool. 
  • Collect, review, and qualify reference customer leads 
  • Execute reference qualification process and suggest process improvements
  • Validate that the customer is referenceable- has the time commitment and interest in the reference program
  • Gather customer details, ask qualifying questions and determine suitability for reference activities
  • Confirm every reference participant in the program has a standard summary overview completed to support requests
  • Submit potential customer story/video nominations to stakeholder evidence teams

Customer reference request fulfilment:

  • Fulfil reference requests from client PR, Sales and Marketing teams
  • Build and strengthen field sales and marketing relationships through positive outreach, aggregation of requests, taking action on field feedback, and providing responses within designated SLAs
  • Track the success of customer references as requested via user surveys, anecdotal feedback, and opportunity IDs (revenue influenced)
  • Advocate on behalf of customers in the customer reference program to encourage continued participation and prevent reference burnout.
  • Data management and upkeep in the reference management tool.

Marketing consulting and project management:

  • Review, validate and develop project briefs based on customers’ needs and in alignment with sales/customer success. 
  • Setup, manage and adjust project timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate creative teams (artists) to ensure everyone has the right information, resources and training to deliver awesome work. 
  • Communicate with clients, customers, internal teams and artists to ensure alignment
  • Coordinate feedback, review and approval cycles with stakeholders to ensure quality content is delivered. 
  • Setup, manage and adjust project logistics (e.g. scheduling interviews, filming dates, permits, agendas) to ensure timely progression of projects.  
  • Coordinate and assure quality of content: video customer stories, written customer stories, Powerpoint presentations, publications, brochures, social media assets, websites, webinars, newsletters, EDMs, and other materials as stated by the client
  • Quality assurance of produced assets in alignment with brand requirements (messaging, design, quality standards)

You already have:

  • 5+ years in a role which includes stakeholder management
  • Experience working with a corporate environment, either from within or as an external partner
  • Experience talking to c-level executives 
  • Experience with Sales and/or Marketing strategy and planning.
  • Fundamental understanding of technology: cloud, digital productivity tools, business apps
  • Fluent English, verbal and written
  • Polished presentation and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of presentation and reporting tools, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • Experience presenting projects status through a data-oriented approach and identifying improvement opportunities.
